Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 September 2026
This policy explains what happens to information you send Webko Digital through this website. It is deliberately short, because this site does very little with data.
What we collect
The only information we collect is what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, your website address if you choose to give it, and your message. All of it is optional in the sense that you are free not to send it, but we cannot reply without a name, an email address and a message.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site, and we have no account system, so there are no passwords to store.
What we do with it
Form submissions are delivered to us as an email and are not written to any database. We use them to reply to you, to prepare any audit or proposal you have asked for, and to keep a record of the conversation in our email inbox.
We do not sell what you send us, we do not pass it to advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of a contact-form submission. If we ever want to send you something you did not ask for, we will ask first. That covers what you type into the form; for what this site’s advertising pixel reports about your visit, see Cookies and tracking below.
Cookies and tracking
These are on by default, and you can turn them off here. We do not interrupt you with a cookie banner to ask first. The switch below takes effect immediately and we remember it for this browser, so nothing loads on any later visit either.
Unless you turn them off, this site loads:
- Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages people read.
- Microsoft Clarity, also through Tag Manager, which records how pages are used — scrolling, clicks and mouse movement — and replays those sessions to us so we can see where a page confuses people. It is session recording, and we would rather name it plainly than describe it as analytics.
- The Meta pixel, which sets a first-party cookie (
_fbp) and reports your visit to Meta. Meta may use that to measure and target advertising, including on Facebook and Instagram.
Nothing you type into the contact form is passed to any of them. All three can also be blocked with any standard content blocker or through your browser’s cookie settings, and the site will work normally either way.
Being straight about the standard: under the UK and EU GDPR referred to below, advertising cookies are supposed to be switched on only after you agree, rather than switched off after the fact. We have chosen not to run a consent banner, so the control above is what we offer in its place.
The one exception sits outside the public site: our content management area at /studio uses cookies to keep an administrator signed in. That only applies to us, not to visitors.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, its servers process technical request data such as IP addresses and user agents in order to serve pages and to keep operational logs.
- Google delivers and stores our email. Contact form submissions travel through Gmail’s mail servers and are held in our inbox. Google also provides Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which you can switch off above.
- Sanity stores the text and images that make up this site’s content. It holds no visitor data.
- Microsoft receives the session recordings made by Clarity, including the pages you view and how you move through them, unless you have turned tracking off.
- Meta receives a record of your visit through the pixel described above, including your IP address and the pages you view, unless you have turned tracking off.
Each of these is a substantial provider with its own privacy terms. Vercel, Google, Microsoft and Sanity process data on our instructions rather than for their own purposes. Meta is the exception: it also uses what the pixel sends for its own advertising purposes, not only ours.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is commercially useful, typically while a project is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. If you would like your correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Because the only data we hold is email correspondence, these requests are usually straightforward to action. Email hello@webkodigital.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights. For example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or comparable legislation. We will honour those rights regardless of whether they apply to us strictly.
Children
This site sells business services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a tag, add a newsletter, or otherwise change what we collect, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly broaden what we do with your data and leave this page describing the old behaviour.
Contact
Questions about any of the above go to hello@webkodigital.com. See also our Terms of Use.
